Check one Google Shopping feed row before you upload it.

Enter one product's values and see what to fix: empty required attributes, wrong price or availability formats, incomplete links and an invalid GTIN. It runs in your browser.

What the row checker tests.

Required attributes

The id, title, description, link, image_link, price and availability must be filled. An empty brand or gtin gets a warning.

Title and description length

Titles over 150 characters fail and under 25 get a warning. Descriptions fail over 5,000 characters and get a warning under 60.

Formats and allowed values

Price as an amount plus currency code, such as 699.00 EUR. Availability and condition must use one of Google's allowed values.

Links and GTIN

The link and image_link must be full URLs, ideally https://. The gtin is checked for length and check digit.

  1. In Central

Every product checked before it reaches Merchant Center.

Central publishes your products to Google Merchant Center and checks each one against Google's rules first. Missing attributes are researched and verified, not left empty, and claims no source supports never reach the listing.

Instead of fixing rejected products one error at a time after the upload.

Questions about Google Shopping feeds.

Something else on your mind? Talk to us.

Does a passing row mean Google will approve the product?

No. The checker covers common format rules. Merchant Center also reviews policies, landing pages, images and category requirements, and it has the final say.

Can I check a whole feed file?

Not here. This tool checks one product at a time. Central checks every product in your catalog before it is sent to Merchant Center.

Why does the GTIN matter?

Google uses it to identify exactly which product you sell. A missing or wrong GTIN on a branded product can limit where it appears, and a valid check digit does not prove the code is yours.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. All checks run in your browser.

Check every product before Google does.

Central completes, verifies and checks your whole catalog before it reaches Merchant Center. Your first 3 products are free.
